In today’s NYT lead editorial:

…[M]ore threats and posturing are unlikely to get Iran to back down. If Mr. Bush isn’t careful, he could end up talking himself into another disastrous war, and if Congress is not clear in opposing him this time, he could drag the country along.

Teeheehee! They’re so cute sometimes.

    And if he isn’t careful, he might let the ‘opportunity’ – which Colin Powell called the 9/11 bombing at a hearing – get away, which is more akin to the mindset at the White House.

    Yep. Avoiding war with Iran is absolutely the *last* thing Dubya wants.

    Which is, of course, insane.
