flory, I just posted an update, because I hadn’t realized that this was the timeframe where they were asking Rove for feedback. I wonder if he might have said some things that could prove… embarrassing. Maybe some references to a Republican congressman who can’t wait to get Carol Lam off his back?

My guess is an �Oops, my bad,� followed by a very selective release of material from that timeframe. It�ll probably just be administrative housekeeping, lunch invites, and Carol Lam jokes.

I dunno…why wouldn’t they have done that already? It looks reaaaaaaally suspicious to have nothing — or almost nothing at this point — from that timeframe. Seems like they could’ve kept people from noticing any kind of gap if they’d just released the administrivia stuff in the first place.

I can’t figure out what they hell they’re thinking…but I suspect not only KKKarl’s but either Chimpy’s or Shooter’s fingerprints are all over the discussions during the gap.
