Hey, remember twenty years ago when Al Campanis and Jimmy The Greek were both fired, like, instantly for making racist comments? Granted, neither of them brought in as much money as Imus, but it still feels like we’ve gone backwards.

Or maybe racism is okay as long as you’re not Greek?

    Still waiting for O’Reilly, Limbaugh, Hannity, Melanie Morgan, Michael Savage, Coulter, Malkin, etc ad nauseum to be fired. Not going to happen…

    As long as there is an audience there will be advertisers thus their jobs are secure. As long as people buy their books and columns they’ll keep pandering to the racists and hate mongers.

    What does that say about the real state of American Society?
