I’ve seen enough Japanese movies and TV that I don’t really think of the Japanese as uptight, cold, or reserved at all…

I’m teasing ya about not posting some of the weird stuff, Eli. I just thought you might have done a bit of digging, only to learn that Psycho le Cemu is kinda…NORMAL, as far as that “trend” in Japan goes. Want crazy? They made regular appearances on our equivalent of The Today Show. Nobody batted an eye about it.

BTW, have you gotten a gander at Japanese commercials? A peek or two at those, and Heavens to Jubei-san, you won’t think of the Japanese as uptight, cold or reserved afterwards!

Did it just get warmer in here? Imagine an ad like that appearing on American TV. Oh wait. We won’t see anything like that, what would the children think? But the Japanese are the ones who are cold and uptight. Riiiiiiiiiighhhhtttttt.

BTW, that ad’s a clue about the Japanese Adam Ant. Although he kinda reminds me of David Bowie, too. Mm! He’s so damned hot, paint peels off the walls around him!
