America is turning gay!" commercial, to the tune of various soda jingles, and you see a 12-year-old kid playing chess in the park with an old man... I miss your wardrobe.

When/How on the SNL thing?

When I was a little kid (2nd or 3rd grade, IIRC), I was in this NYU guy’s student film. A few years later (81? 82?) he was doing the sound on an SNL fake commercial and got me in as an extra. So if you ever see the “Come on out, America! America is turning gay!” commercial, to the tune of various soda jingles, and you see a 12-year-old kid playing chess in the park with an old man…
