When I was a tot, my granny tried teaching me a song they had sung when she was a child. It basically involved mild puns on the names of the states; the only actual verse I remember ran,

"What did Tennessee, boys?
What did Tennesse?
He saw what Arkansas, boys,
He saw what Arkansas"

She quit in disgust when I came up with a new verse:

"Where did Mississippi, boys?
Where did Mississippi?
She peed in her New Jersey..."

I was quite proud. Still am, actually.
