Mindreading For Dummies

In case you may be wondering how your Senator or Representative may be voting on Iraq the next time a supplemental and/or withdrawal timetable bill comes around, there is one method that I am confident will work very effectively.

If, after the latest NIE on Iraq that says that the violence is still unabated and the government isn’t doing squat, and after the draft of the GAO report on Iraq that indicates that the Iraqupation has only met 3 of the 18 benchmarks it was supposed to reach by now… if, after all that, your congresscritter says that he/she/it still wants to hear what the White House says General Petraeus says before he/she/it can make up his/her/its mind on Iraq, then it’s a pretty safe bet that he/she/it is completely in the tank and will not be voting to end the war anytime soon.

The reverse is not necessarily true, but anyone who trusts the White House more than the intelligence community or the GAO is definitely guzzling the Karl-Aid.
