I was shocked the other day when on the Colbert Report he said “no more Friedmans”, no more 6 months in Iraq, no more turning the corners.
Perhaps it is getting obvious to everyone, even the Friedmans of the world, that as long as Iraq stays a for-profit soldier of fortune venture run by oil co’s and defense corps there’ll be no end to the occupation of Iraq.

If even Friedman realizes it’s a lost cause, after what, nine Friedman Units, then it should be pretty obvious to everyone but the Kool-Aid drinkers.
