Salk Institute Photoblogging
October 13th, 2007at 01:47pm Posted by Eli
Since one of the family reunion attendees (also named Eli) is an architect, he and his dad and I went on a little photo pilgrimage to the Salk Institute, designed by Louis Kahn. So there were, in fact, two Elis with Nikon digital SLRs wandering around the same place at the same time, which probably doesn’t happen a lot.
Unfortunately, the buildings are all kind of a beige/sandy color, which is not very appealing in color, and kind of dingy in B&W, so the photo processing was a bit of a challenge. But I think I still managed to salvage a few shots that don’t totally suck.
