Those of you in the business world should appreciate this one: Coyote Meeting.
It refers to a meeting so endless, so soul-destroying and pointless and godawful, that you would gladly gnaw off your own arm to get away.
Not that I’ve ever been in one, of course, but I can certainly see how they might happen…

Thanks and condolences, man. The Giants have played their fair share of Coyote Football, including in that very game (10-minute, 20-play drive? Allowing 3rd-down conversions at will? Ugh.).

Oh, good timing on this post. I’ve been in one of these all day. I must now decide whether to bellow with rage, cry in a low-key manner or start flinging desk accessories around the room. I wonder if there’s a Blackhawks game tonight–that would work, too.

More times than I can count. It’s only the coyote aspect of the paperwork that’s stopping me.

If you’re filling out paperwork, then you’re probably not simulating death very effectively…
