Not only was not doing so foolish, it's clearly deflated many folks who were his supporters. What's more, it's given skeptics like me no reason to change our minds. I am absolutely unsurprised by anything he's done. Hell, I <a HREF="http://cujo359.blogspot.com/2008/06/help-us-obama-wan.html" rel="nofollow">predicted his behavior</A> days ago. I continue to marvel at the bubble of unreality that surrounds DC. All Obama had to do was say to Harry Reid “make this disappear until after the election”, and it wouldn’t have been a problem.
