Bobby Jindal: FAIL

Not only did he sound like Mr. Rogers pitching an informercial, not only did his entrance inspire Chris Matthews to whisper “Oh my God” into a live mic, not only was his “government sucks/we know we screwed up but we’ll regain your trust by continuing to do what we’ve always done” messaging completely tone-deaf, but it’s very likely that the anecdote he used as the centerpiece of his “government is the problem” thesis… was completely fabricated.
Nice career you had there, Mr. Jindal. Have fun explaining to Louisiana voters over and over again why you said you’d take all the stimulus funds for your state except the ones earmarked for unemployment.

Just put a floppy white hat on Jindal, and he’s Gilligan.
I look forward to his epic battle against Ginger/Palin for the 2012 Republican nomination. These are a clearly a couple of major heavyweights they have leading the pack.

He was appalling, an embarrassment. How anybody could think they had Pygmalion-ed him enough to put him on national display just smacks of your typical GOP cynicism.
Down here, he’s shown himself to be the mirror image of all of our other “Banana Republic” politicians. They may have screwed us over, but they gave us something back in the form of infrastructure, jobs, and a few bucks of our own. Piyush is a corporate puppy-dog, yapping and wagging his tail for a treat from his masters.

I like how he referred to himself as a “preexisting condition.” Isn’t that what Michelle Malkin and the rest of the flying monkeys refer to as an “anchor baby?”
