Netroots Nation Photoblogging!

Here it is, the first batch of photos from today’s panels. These four are from the How To Read Polls panel with Greg Dworkin (DemFromCT), Charlie Cook, Charles Franklin, Mark Blumenthal, and Nate Silver. Apologies for any shortcomings in photo quality. There wasn’t much light, and I’m using Picasa on a netbook instead of Lightroom on a laptop. I may or may not go back and redo some of these.

Charlie Cook 2

Charlie Cook works the hair.

Franklin-Silver 1

Charles Franklin and Nate Silver.

Cook-Dworkin 1

Charlie Cook cracks Greg up.

Fester

Pittsburgh’s own Fester (of Newshoggers) looks on.

Full album can be found here, will be updated sporadically.

I’m pushing the idea of Streaking for Universal Healthcare. I think it might just get the attention away from the idiot teabagger crowd and motivate college kids to get in the debate. It also counters hate and fear with laughter and joy.

I love the photos, but this is oh so hard to read for those of us who are visually impaired. The white on black type is hard to read no matter how much it is enlarged. Would love to see (literally) a more ADA-friendly presentation, if you can keep the artistic value intact. Or maybe a way to switch it to an easier-to-read scheme? Brad Blog does that.

    Thank you for your consideration.

I actually do have that – on the right sidebar, just below the search box. I hope that helps.
