I still can’t believe I donated $ to get this woman elected to the senate in ‘06. Ever since then, I’ve had the distinct feeling of having been bamboozled.

I must refer to her as Bamboozle McCaskill from now on. It does have a certain ring to it.

Getting elected is such hard work that they have hardly any energy left for actual legislating.

If that’s their quota they’re not meeting it most years.

I’m continually amazed at the number of congresspeople who seem to be unaware that they not only asked for their jobs, but actually went out and worked to get them.
