Republicans Want Reagan To Be Beloved But Polarizing
I think it’s kind of hilarious that Republicans are concerned and even insulted that Reagan’s image is becoming that of some kind of bipartisan or even uniting figure, and are absolutely outraged by any suggestion that he might have gotten along with Tip O’Neill.
They can’t bear the thought that he might be seen as anything other than some kind of extremist psychopath. Kinda reminds of the Westboro Baptist Church’s attitude towards Jesus.
