Judicial nominees are still kinda scary, and probably the only thing that could persuade me to vote for O. Not sure that’s gonna be enough tho.

That used to be a core principle of mine, too, but I adjusted it about three and a half years ago.

Naw, seriously, I just cannot vote for Obama this time. On matters of policy, I might buy the argument that the outcomes would be at least marginally better with Obama in office than with Romney. It’s the matters of principle that stick in my craw. How can I support a candidate who supports indefinite detention, military tribunals, extrajudicial killings in noncombat situations, etc.? The list of fundamental rights violations this administration commits is truly embarassing. I know that these violations would continue under a Romney administration, too. But I can’t in good conscience support any candidate who goes in for this bullshit. It’s the Greens for me, I think.
